The recession has taken it’s toll in Palmerston North with agency Recruitment Plus going into receivership. It is unknown how many staff were affected.
This follows on from Madison Recruitment closing it’s Palmerston North operation earlier this year.
Action Personnel, Palmerston North’s first recruitment agency claims to still be bringing people into the city, even though they acknowledge tough economic conditions.
Drake Palmerston North Branch claims they have been through recessions before and they viewed itself as a business solutions provider, rather than a recruitment agency.

The PNC market is/was flooded wih agencies and for such a small place its hard to keep this up
